You’ve heard the saying “...dogs are for life - not just for Christmas”.
How very true and your dog is dependent upon you from the day he/she arrives in your home. Feeding, grooming, playing, training, exercising and trips to the Vet. Not too often with the latter we hope but there are always the essentials such as vaccination.
Give your dog what he/she needs and you will be repaid many times over by a true friend. A friend who will be there through thick and thin and who really asks so little of you.
It is a sad but true fact that even dogs which receive considerably less than the minimum that they deserve still give deep devotion to their owners.
Be fair and you will truly have -
